Conference venue: The 26th IRSCL Congress 2023 will be hosted by the University of California, Santa Barbara, with plentiful indoor and outdoor meeting and banquet spaces on a beautiful campus peninsula right by the sea.

Local Interest: Children’s literature scholars may be interested that Island of the Blue Dolphins takes place on the uninhabited Channel Islands (now a National Park) visible from the shore.
